Born in Beijing in 1970, graduated from the School of Architectural of Faculty of Engineering at Nippon Bunri University with a bachelor degree of engineering in 1997, and from the School of Human-Environment Studies of Faculty of Arts Engineering at Kyushu University, respectively receiving a master degree of engineering in 1999, and a Ph.D. in 2002.

Now he is associate professor, master tutor and dean of the Cultural Heritage Department of the School of Design and Arts at Beijing Institute of Technology.

He is also the member of China Cultural Relics Society, Architectural Institute of Japan and Urban Planning Society of Japan, as well as deputy director and researcher of Department of Ancient Capital and Cultural Heritage Research of Beijing City Development Research Institute. He edited World Heritage Collection of International Forum Thesis, and co-authored 市場と流通の社会史·日本とアジアの市場历史.

He won the Oita Mayor Award of "Japan Oita City Art Exhibition" in 1994, and the Excellent Works Award of “Building Competition of Architectural Institute of Japan”.
