Born in Dangtu, Anhui in 1976, graduated from China Central Academy of Fine Arts with a master’s degree in 2005 and from China National Academy of Arts in Beijing with a Ph.D. in 2011, and worked in China Motor Vehicle Inspection Center from 1999 to 2002. He has taught at Beijing Institute of Technology since 2005, and now is an associate professor in the Visual Communication Department of School of Design and Arts at Beijing Institute of Technology. His major research interests are visual communication and composition of Chinese painting, and main writings include Chinese Young Artist-Hang Chunhui Volume and New Fine Line Painting Literature Books-Hang Chunhui Volume. His works have won the HKDA Global Design Awards, the silver prize and cooper prize of the CCII International Logo Design Biennial Exhibition, etc.
