She was born in 1969 in Chengdu. In 1992, she graduated with a bachelor degree from The Central Academy of Fine Arts, majoring in Dye Clothing Design. In 2002, she graduated with a master degree from Academy of Arts & Design of Tsinghua University, majoring in Visual Communication Design. During 2004 to 2005, she studied Visual Communication Design in Kobe, Japan Art Engineering University. Since 2002, she has been teaching in School of Design and Arts, Beijing Institute of Technology (BIT).

Currently she is an associate professor and master tutor at School of Design and Arts of BIT.
Main research direction: Visual Communication Design.
