Yao Jian

Born in 1973 in Shandong province, he graduated from Central Academy of Fine Arts with bachelor’s degree of Environmental Art Design. From 1995 to 1998 he worked in the Department of Architecture of Beijing University of Technology. In 2001, he graduated from Academy of Fine Arts of Tsinghua University with the master’s degree of Environmental Art and Design. Since 2001, he has been a teacher in Beijing Institute of Technology. Later he went to study in the School of Architecture in Central Academy of Fine Arts and received his doctor’s degree.
Now he is an associate professor at the Department of Environmental Art and Design of School of Art and Design and master supervisor in BIT and member of Professional Committee of Ming-style furniture in Chinese Arts and Crafts Institute

Environmental Art and Design and Indoor and outdoor Environment Art Design.
